What Learners Say

PC

Pichaya Charoenwong

Bangkok · Foundations Track

"I'd tried online courses before and always lost steam around week three. The difference here was that someone actually read my exercises and told me what was off. That feedback loop kept me going. By the time I reached the project section, I felt like I actually understood what I was building."

Wasin Sripanich

Chiang Mai · Applied Track

"The Applied track pushed me in ways I didn't expect. The code reviews were particularly useful — not because my code was wrong, but because the reviewer would flag habits that would cause problems later. I came away with a much cleaner way of thinking about model structure."

Maneerat Thamrongsak

Bangkok · Capstone Track

"The one-to-one sessions were what I was most uncertain about before starting. I wasn't sure what to expect from a mentor I'd never met. But the scoping conversation in week one was genuinely useful — it helped me narrow a vague idea into something I could actually build and finish."

Supachai Klahan

Phuket · Foundations Track

"I work full-time in logistics and was doing this on evenings and weekends. The self-paced format was essential — but what I appreciated was that it wasn't just 'do it whenever'. The milestone check-ins gave me a reason to keep to a rough schedule. I finished in about 10 weeks."

Nareeya Phumchaiyaporn

Khon Kaen · Applied Track

"I had some coding background but no real ML experience. The Applied track was the right level — it expected me to know Python basics and moved fairly quickly from there. There were moments where I got stuck for a day or two, but the support response was fast and helpful rather than just pointing me back to the material."

Theerawat Bunyarit

Bangkok · Capstone Track

"My capstone project was something I'd been thinking about building for a year but hadn't started because I didn't know how to scope it properly. Having a mentor push back on early assumptions, suggest where to simplify, and check the direction at each stage was what made it actually get done — and done in a way I'm happy to show."

Study Journeys in Detail

Challenge

A data analyst with strong spreadsheet skills but no programming background wanted to start working with ML tools used by her team. She'd looked at several MOOC platforms and found them either too fast-paced or too shallow on feedback.

Approach

She started with Foundations and worked through it over 12 weeks, fitting study sessions into mornings before work. Exercise reviews flagged a persistent habit of over-complicating data transformations, and the feedback notes helped her recognise where simpler approaches were better.

Outcome

Completed Foundations and moved directly into Applied. Her portfolio project from Applied — a classification model on a supply chain dataset — is now part of her regular workflow. She plans to join the Capstone track later in 2025.

"I wasn't looking for quick. I was looking for something that would actually stick." — P.W., Bangkok · Applied Track completed May 2025

Challenge

A software developer with five years of backend experience wanted to move into ML engineering. He understood code structure well but had no background in statistics or model evaluation, and wasn't sure where to start.

Approach

He joined the Applied track directly after a brief intake conversation confirming his programming background was sufficient. His code reviews focused almost entirely on statistical reasoning rather than code quality — which is where the gap actually was.

Outcome

Completed Applied in 8 weeks and moved into Capstone. His capstone project involved a time-series forecasting model for a small business context. The final presentation session gave him a structured way to articulate what the model can and cannot do.

"The reviewer consistently told me things I wouldn't have noticed on my own. That's the part I valued most." — K.A., Chiang Mai · Capstone completed June 2025
